From Quarks to Christ: Reflections after reading Dancing Wu Li Masters

I just finished reading, "The Dancing Wu Li Masters" and again find science to be filled with so many unknowns, diverse philosophies, and blind faith in material things, it makes my head spin. These scientists who are looking with a keen sense of objectivity for answers to our questions only find more unaswered question. They then overlook the obvious; that there is something much greater going on behind the scenes.

How science can be so blind and prejudice on one hand and yet be so openly acceptable to any idea that doesn't include God, is beyond me. I think their rational fears for falling into a "God of the Gaps" rationality has affected scientific thinking and philosophers of today in an irrational way. Their magnificent ability for reasoning has made those who are blessed with such knowledge and skill now cursed to live a life without God. What is further frustrating is how they impart their philosophies as unquestionable truths and affect those who don't see the problems of science; taking science on face value. This has become a plague that now affects people who are not scientists but who will use science to come up with and promote new philosophies. It's a pagan value scheme and it's wrong.

"Wise men still Seek Him."

I know this trap that modern science sets for us, all too well. I was one who needed proof in order to believe. I need to see the evidence of God before I would believe. But faith does not come to use in this way. He is the awe that is spoken about in "Dancing Wu Li Masters". But unlike the conclusion of Dancing Wu Li Masters, I don't accept the significance of Buddhist or asian teaching. These teachings require us to escape this world rather then transform it. Like so many I felt, if there is a God, he should reveal Himself to us.

But He did reveal Himself to us and we have all reject Him at some time. All we have to do is ask for his forgiveness and He will reveal Himself.
